Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: July 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Gattison LLC, doing business as Icon Element (“Icon Element,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, request a sector brief, join an insight series, book a call, submit an inquiry, or otherwise interact with us.

Information we collect

Information you provide

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, organization, role or title, sector, appointment preferences, inquiry details, geographic or community focus, budget or investment range, and other information you choose to provide.

When you request a sector executive brief, we collect the information needed to deliver the brief and enroll you in the related Icon Element sector-specific insight series, as described at the point of collection.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website, we and our service providers may automatically receive technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, dates and times of visits, link interactions, and similar diagnostic information.

Email and engagement information

Our email service provider may record delivery, open, click, bounce, unsubscribe, and complaint information so we can operate our communications, measure performance, and respect your preferences.

How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • Deliver requested sector briefs and related sector-specific research and insights.
  • Respond to inquiries, schedule calls, and prepare for conversations or engagements.
  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve our website, research, services, and communications.
  • Understand audience interests, website performance, and engagement with our content.
  • Protect our website, prevent fraud or misuse, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Email communications

If you request a sector brief, the offer includes delivery of the requested brief and occasional relevant communications from Icon Element about trust, credibility, performance, and Los Angeles conditions for the selected sector.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email. If you book a call or diagnostic conversation, we may still send limited non-promotional messages needed to confirm, schedule, update, and prepare for that appointment. Those appointment-related messages do not by themselves enroll you in a marketing series.

How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate our business, including website hosting and serverless-function providers, email delivery platforms, Google services used for forms, spreadsheets, scheduling, and meetings, analytics or tag-management providers, and professional advisers.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.

No sale of personal information

Icon Element does not sell personal information. As of the effective date of this policy, we do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies, analytics, and tracking

Our website may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain functionality, understand traffic, measure interactions, and improve performance. We use Google Tag Manager and may use services configured through it.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not governed by a single industry standard, and our website does not currently respond to them in a standardized way. Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid opt-out preference signal, we will process that signal as required.

Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing requested information, maintaining business records, honoring unsubscribe choices, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or to explain how we use it. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights, including rights to know, delete, correct, or limit certain uses of personal information and to be free from discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

To submit a request, email contact@joiniconelement.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for organizational and professional audiences and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices, technology, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
